about yoga

What has to be understood is that there is no karma where yoga is. Because activity with no ego involved, with no attachments doesn’t create vritti, and thus no trace of this deed is left on the soul.

In "The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali," the revered sage defines yoga as "citta vritti nirodha". "Citta" is the mind, "vritti" refers to thoughts and "nirodha" means removal. Yoga stills the mind and frees it of thoughts.

Thus, each activity without expectations, desires, regrets can be called Karma Yoga.

Karma Yoga is an action beyond the Karma.

I don't like to think about KY as it is a service or a work for free in the name of spirituality. I Understand it as a specific way to percept the reality and to perform the activities anytime and anywhere, that brings me liberation and pacification. They say, that motherhood is Karma Yoga. Well, I always remind it to myself when my daughter wakes up earlier than I expected, and there is no time left for personal Yoga practices. These thoughts satisfy and pacify the part of me that wants to be yogi. Today I am the great Karma Yogi playing dolls with total involvement ))))

And what is your Karma Yoga like?
